The yacht Laurel was built by Delta Marine in 2006. For long she was the largest private yacht built in the USA. Her original owner was Charles Berwind, who headed Berwin Corporation (active in coal mining). Berwind’s son James is the owner of the yacht Scout.
When Berwind died in 2010, his yacht was sold by his estate. Golisano spent US$ 50 million on the yacht.

Laurel has a composite superstructure. The luxury yacht is powered by two Caterpillar engines. Her top speed is 18 knots. And her range 6,000 miles at 13 knots.
Interior
The yacht Laurel can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 22. Her interior is designed by Donald Starkey. He is also responsible for her exterior design. There is an observation room on the sun deck. And a sky lounge, a study, and a large gym.
Owner
The yacht’s owner is Tom Golisano.
