Alexander Mamut

Grace Was built as Kibo for  Alexander Mamut. Mamut is a Russian billionaire and investor. He was born in January 1960. He was married to Nadezhda Brezhneva. She died in 2002. He has 3 children (Nikolay, Esfir, and Pjotr.) Through his investment vehicle A&NN Capital Fund Management he holds shares in several companies, including the UK-based bookshop chain Waterstone’s, the Moscow-based bookshop chain Bookberry and the Russian publisher Azbuka-Atticus.


Mamut also co-owns the Russian online media company SUP Media, which is most known for it’s an investment in LiveJournal and the Russian news site

Mamut used to own a 50 percent stake in the mobile phone chain Evroset, but he sold the shares in 2012 for US$ 1 billion to Alisher Usmanov. Further Mamut also owns a large stake in Polymetal. In the 1990’s Mamut was an advisor to Boris Yeltsin.

Private Jet

Mamut owns a US$ 35 million Bombardier Challenger private jet, with registration OY-NNA. The jet is from 2007.

In 2019 she was repainted in the Netherlands (with a similar livery).  The aircraft can accommodate 14 passengers.
