The yacht Musashi is a 88 meter Feadship, delivered in 2010. She was a replacement for the 138 meter Lurssen Rising Sun, which Larry Ellison considered too big for most yachting destinations.
With hull number 1002, Musashi was the largest Feadship ever built at that time. She is the second hull from Feadship’s XL range. Musashi is designed by De Voogt Naval Architects and Sinot Yacht Design.
Luxury yacht Musashi can accommodate 18 guests with a crew of 23. Some of her features include a glass elevator and a large cinema lounge. The designers combines elements from Japanese design and art deco.
The yacht is named after the greatest samurai ever: Miyamoto Musashi. Miyamoto Musashi was an expert and Japanese swordsman and ronin, who lived from 1584 until 1645. He authored The Book of Five Rings, a book on strategy, tactics, and philosophy that is still studied today. In September 2013 the yacht Musashi attended the America’s Cup, hosting guests of Larry Ellison. Early 2014 Musashi was spotted in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The yacht Musashi is not available for charter, but enquire for your ultimate charter experience on other yachts.
