The Luxury Yacht Madame Gu was delivered by Feadship in 2013 after four years of construction. With a length of 99 meters, Madame Gu is one of the largest yachts built in the Netherlands.

His father, Vladimir Skoch, is the beneficiary of the trust that is a 30% shareholder of USM Holdings. USM is a holding company with different assets including Metalloinvest and Megafon.
Metalloinvest is one of the largest iron ore and hot-briquetted iron producers in the world. Megafon is a large telecom operator in Russia.

However, research by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) disclosed that the Skoch family actually is the owner of the yacht. The contract was signed by Castel Shipping, based in Belize, but during construction, the project was sold to Almano Holding on the Cayman Islands.
The Paradise Papers disclose that Elena Lickhach the owner of Almano Holdings is. Elena Lickhach is the wife of Skoch. So formally Skoch’s advisor is right: the yacht is not owned by Skoch, but by his wife. ;-)
Mr. Skoch also owned the Amels-built motor yacht Gu. She was renamed Lady Gulya. And is now sold and named Astrid Conroy.
