The yacht is a creation of the famous French designer Philippe Starck. She was the largest Feadship built at the time of her launch.
She is powered by 2 Caterpillar engines. Which bring her a top speed of 16 knots. Her cruising speed is 15 knots. She has a range of 4,700nm.
Her superstructures comprise harmonious round forms and high windows with wood surrounds. The interior decoration will surprise those unaccustomed to Starck’s style, as habitually, the designer mixes styles and periods.
Some parts are simply beautiful, like the large lounge and owner’s bedroom. Other parts suffer from a certain coldness, like the dining room.
The lower deck includes two garages for the tenders. With access towards the bathing platform in the stern. There are four guest staterooms (aft), the engine room (to the center), and crew quarters (forward).
The first deck accommodates the large lounge (aft). And a section containing staircases, lifts, galley (to the center), the dining room. There are three other guest staterooms (forward).
The second deck is completely dedicated for use by the owner with a lounge (aft), the “staircases and lifts” area (to the center), a guest stateroom to starboard, the owner’s dressing room to port, and the owner’s panoramic suite (forward).
The third deck accommodates a panoramic lounge (aft), the “staircases and lifts” area (to the center), the captain’s stateroom, and the pilothouse (forward).
