The superyacht Nourah of Riyad was built by Yachtley in 2008.
2012 Refit
In 2012 she was refitted at Yachtley where a 5-meter extension with a swimming platform and beach club was added. She measures now 70 meters (230ft). In March 2020 the yacht capsized at the dock in Greece. Apparently an error was made during maintenance works.
Donald Starkey Design
Both her exterior and interior are designed by Donald Starkey. The yacht has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.
Nourah of Riyad can reach a top speed of 19 knots, powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines.
Interior
Her features include a private cinema with seating for nine, gold plated fixtures in the bathrooms and an elevator.
Built for Prince Mohammed bin Fahd
This is actually the second Nourah of Riyad. The first Nourah of Riyad is a 40-meter CRN, built-in 1987. The CRN yacht was originally built for Prince Muhammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who gifted the yacht to his son Prince Turki, when he ordered his new and larger yacht. This yacht we now know as Montkaj.
Owner
The yacht’s owner is Prince Turki Bin Mohammed bin Fahd.
