The Golden Odyssey Yacht, originally built as Project Tatiana at the esteemed Lurssen Yachts, represents the pinnacle of yacht craftsmanship and design. In the Paradise Papers, leaked documents revealed offshore investments, and it was disclosed that the Prince owned the yacht through a Bermudan offshore company named Actaeon Shipping Ltd. Unfortunately, due to defaulting on a loan that used the yacht as collateral, the Golden Odyssey was seized and auctioned in Malta.
Following these events, the yacht was acquired by a new owner, a Chinese billionaire, reputed for his discerning taste in yacht design and construction. This new owner is reported to be currently in the process of building another large yacht at Lurssen, showing his affinity for their unmatched craftsmanship.
In 2024 the yacht was listed for sale, as her Chinese owner is awaiting delivery of his new Lurssen ‘DEEP BLUE’ project.
