UK billionaire Lloyd Dorfman is the owner of the yacht Elandess.
Dorfman is the founder of the Travelex Group. Travelex is London based currency exchange company. The company is active in international payments, currency exchange, and issuing prepaid credit cards for use by travelers.
The company was founded in 1976. Travelex is currently the world's largest retailer of foreign exchange. In 2011 Dorfman sold the credit card business for US$ 400 million and the international payment business for US$ 800 million. And in 2014 Dorfman sold the majority of all his shares in Travelex for approx US$ 500 million.

She is powered by two 2,000hp Caterpillar diesel engines, which bring her a top speed of 16 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles. In 2016 Elandess was sold for EUR 45 million (or US$ 55 million). She is now named Elysian.
