SuperYacht Ulysses

The yacht Ulysses is a 107 meter expedition yacht, currently under construction for New Zealand based billionaire Graeme Hart. Hart actually is building two new expedition yachts at Kleven: a 107 meter yacht to be delivered in  December 2015 and a 116 meter yacht to be delivered in 2016. The 107 meter arrived in Bremerhaven in August 2015, where she will be finished at Stahlbau Nord, under supervision of Dörries Maritime Services. Hart previously owned a smaller explorer yacht, delivered by US yacht builder Trinity in 2003. She is sold and is now named Grand Rusalina. Grand Rusalina’s design was done by Ricky Smith Designs. In 2011 she was put for sale for USD 49 million and sold early 2014.

Graeme Hart

Graeme Hart is a New Zealand businessman reported to be the richest person in Australasia with net worth of USD 5,3 billion. The 2007 September issue of the New Zealand Listener listed Hart as being the 29th most powerful New Zealander. He prefers to stay out of the general media and makes few public appearances. Graeme Hart has a preference for buying under-performing and under-valued companies with steady cash flows which can be turned around through strong cash management, cost-cutting and restructuring with other businesses. Since his 2006 purchase of Carter Holt Harvey he has focused his acquisitions on the paper packaging sector. His largest acquisition to-date was for Alcoa's Packaging & Consumer group in 2008 for USD 2.7 billion, later renamed Reynolds Packaging Group. He does not directly manage his businesses, and is focused mostly on the financing related to re-capitalization of the companies. Rank Group Ltd is Graeme Hart's private investment company. Rank Group is the 100% owner of Burns Philp and Carter Holt Harvey. Rank had assets of approximately NZD 3 billion in cash after selling the assets of Burns Philp and floating Goodman Fielder in 2004. Goodman Fielder is one of Australasia’s largest food companies.

SuperYacht Ulysses (Benetti)

Superyacht Ulysses was built by Benetti as project Nero, and was delivered to her owner Johnny Ronan in 2012. Her length is 56 meter ( 183 ft) Ulysses has an interior designed by Stefano Natucci. Ulysses can accommodate 12 guests and 12 crew. Ulysses is available for charter for approx. USD 300.000 per week. She has a wide selection of toys including wave runners, water skis and paddle boards and she is a RYA Training School.

Johnny Ronan

Johnny Ronan is an Irish real estate developer. He is the owner of the Ronan Group, active in real estate development. He is the co-founder of Treasury Holdings, an Irish property development company which became insolvent in 2012. Treasury Holdings was formed in 1989 and is known for the Treasury Building on Grand Canal Street on Dublin’s southside. This building houses the National Asset Management Agency and the National Treasury Management Agency. Ronan was once considered a billionaire, but his current net worth is not clear. He was able to repay a EUR 300 million debt early 2015 though.
