The yacht is designed by Bill Tripp Design. While Dölker + Voges is responsible for the yacht’s interior. The yacht was delivered in 2016. The Aquijo yacht can accommodate 12 guests and has a crew of 17.
She is powered by a Caterpillar engines. Which brings her a maximum speed of 14 knots. Her cruise speed is 12 knots.
Kjell was the owner of the yacht Aglaia. The yacht Aglaia was built at Vitters Shipyard. On a design of Dubois Naval Architects. One of her features was a Code 1 sail painted by Norwegian artist Magne Furuholmen.
He sold her in 2014 and she is now named Ahimsa. Rokke is also the original owner of the Benetti motor yacht Reverie.

In May 2017 it was reported that Rokke ordered the World’s Biggest Yacht. A 182 meter and 16,000t Research Expedition Vessel (REV) to be build at Vard in Norway.
With its length of 182 meters, the vessel will be the longest one ever engineered and built by VARD. The exterior design of REV is done by Espen Oeino.
The research and expedition area features modern laboratories, an auditorium, a hangar for a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV). And an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) with direct access to the vessel’s moonpool. And the yacht has a multifunctional cargo deck.
The vessel will have a high standard. To make it suitable for charter to private individuals, companies and institutions.
The total accommodation capacity is for 90 persons. Including a maximum of 36 guests on board. Røkke commented, “My very first large factory trawler was built by VARD 30 years ago. And I have enjoyed a great relationship with the team at VARD since then.
I know what VARD stands for. And it is a pleasure to come back and build this Research Expedition Vessel together with them.”
