The yacht Lady Petra was built for Frans Heesen and delivered in 2012.
Lady Petra is the eight yacht in the succesfull 47 meter full displacement series. The first yacht in this series was the yacht Yalla, delivered in 2004. Other yachts in this series are Sirocco, Elandess II, Celestial Hope, Blind Date, 4You and in 2012 Secret was delivered, at the moment the last yacht.
This Lady Petra is the 2nd yacht built for Frans Heesen, he previously owned a 44 meter also named Lady Petra which was delivered in 2009. He actually planned to order a 37 meter, but before construction started the (partial completed) 44 meter became available.
The current Lady Petra was sold early 2017, so maybe Frans Heesen is planning another new yacht. Lady Petra is now named Como and owned by Neville Crichton.
The yacht Como is not available for charter.
Frans Heesen is the founder of Heesen Yachts.
Frans Heesen started as entrepreneur in industrial plastics with companies as Halcoplast and Kunststoffen Industries Oss. With his plastic companies he had been building composite yachts for Jaguar Yachts. While he was looking for expansion for his companies, Frans Heesen came along a bankrupt boat builder and purchased their production site.
This was the basis for Heesen Yachts. The first order was the yacht Amigo for Dutch real estate developer Jo Roelof Zeeman, founder of Zeeman Vastgoed and the stock listed Nieuwe Steen Investments. In 30 years time Heesen Yachts became one of the most successful super yacht builders in the world.

In 2008 Frans Heesen sold Heesen Yachts for EUR 175 million (which brings his net worth at more than US$ 200 million) to Russian billionaire Vagit Alekperov, president of Lukoil and owner of the 50 meter Heesen yacht Galactica.
