The yacht Sussurro is the fastest superyacht built by Feadship. She was delivered to her Middle Eastern owner in 1998 and was later acquired by Roman Abramovich.
There are some rumors that Sussurro is now owned by Abramovich’s ex-wife Irina Malandina, as part of a divorce settlement.
As Abramovich owns several other yachts, he rarely used the luxury yacht Sussurro. Sussurro is more or less permanently docked in Antibes.
M/Y Sussurro is powered by twin Textron Lycoming TF40 gas turbines and two Paxman diesel. Her total horsepower is 15,000. The engines drive two steerable water jets and one Boost water jet. Her top speed is 46 knots. Her cruise speed is 20 knots.
Her interior design is done by Terence Disdale. She can accommodate 12 guests and has a crew of 10.
Sussurro is an Italian word, meaning “rustle”, or “to act or move with energy or speed”. Which is an adequate name for this fast vessel.
The yacht’s owner is Roman Abramovich.
