In an unforeseen turn of events, Axioma was seized and auctioned off in Gibraltar in September 2022. The auction attracted 63 bids, with the winning bid recorded at $37.5 million, reported by the Office of the Admiralty Marshal of Gibraltar.
Ali Riza Yildirim, who placed the winning bid of $37.5 million at the Gibraltar auction, is the Chairman of the Turkish Yildirim Group. His brother Robert Yuksel Yildirim is the owner of the yacht SARASTAR.
