Rashnikov is the majority share owner of Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK). It is one of the world’s largest steel producers. He was born in October 1948. He is married to Tatyana Kuzmina, they have 2 children. (Tatiana Rakhno and Olga Viktorovna Rashnikova).
He started as a fitter in the company’s repair shop in 1967. He made career in functions as Head of Production and Chief Engineer.
Later he became Managing Director and Chairman. During the years he purchased shares on the market. Until he had a majority share (of 87.26% in 2018).

Viktor’s daughter Olga Viktorovna Rashnikova sits on the board of directors of MMK. His daughter Tatiana is director at MMK Trading AG.
