The yacht Rhino was built as Roxana by Admiral Marine.
Donald Starkey Design
Delivered in 1998, Rhino is designed by Donald Starkey Design. Her hull and superstructure are built out of fiberglass.
With a length of 47 meter or 154ft, she can reach a top speed of 16.5 knots. She is powered by 2 Caterpillar marine engines.
Featured in the Below Deck TV series
As Ohana the yacht was featured in the second season of the US reality TV series named Below Deck.
In the series her original crew is replaced by a TV cast and all footage was ‘staged’ and tweaked for entertainment. The series was criticized for not representing the actual charter experience.
Sold to Roy E Carroll
In 2014 Ohana was sold to US-based real estate developer Carroll. Her asking price was US$10.9 million. In 2017 Rhino was put for sale through IYC, as Roy Carroll bought the yacht Skyfall.
Yacht Charter
Following an extensive US$$ 2.5 million 2014 refit, the yacht Rhino is available for charter. The yacht was rumored to be heading to Bermuda for the 35th America’s Cup races and will meet up with its sister yacht, Rhino Fish also owned by Carroll.
Rhino Fish will provide charter guests with a front seat to America’s Cup.
