The NAUSICAÄ yacht is an upcoming megayacht that is sure to turn heads upon its completion in 2026. Designed by Marc Newson and built by Lurssen, NAUSICAA is a large yacht measuring 114 meters in length and 22 meters in beam. The name Nausicaa originates from Greek mythology and is best known from Homer’s Odyssey. During construction she was known as Project Cosmos.
As one of the largest yachts in the world, the Nausicaä yacht has a displacement of 6,300 tons and is powered by MTU 16V4000 diesel engines, giving it a cruising speed of around 14 knots and an estimated top speed of over 20 knots.
The interior of M/Y Nausicaä has also been designed by Marc Newson, with little information currently available. However, we do know that it features a 2-level glass atrium and can accommodate up to 18 guests with a crew of over 36.
