Who is Sheikh Tahnoon?

Sheikh Tahnoon is a son of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (1918-2004). Ruler of Abu Dhabi and founder of the United Arab Emirates. If we understand correctly, he is married to Sheikha Khawla Bint Ahmed Bin Khalifa Al Suwaidi.

His brother Sheikh Khalifa was the Emir of Abu Dhabi and President of the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Tahnoon is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the First Abu Dhabi Bank.

And he served as deputy chairman of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi. He is Chairman of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. We were informed that Sheikh Tahnoon ben Zayed Al Nahyan is the owner of the yacht Maryah.

The Al Nahyan Family is one of the six ruling families of the United Arab Emirates, based in Abu Dhabi.

Its most known member is Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He was the President of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Abu Dhabi until his death in 2022.
