Le Grand Bleu is designed by Stefano Pastrovic. She was originally 104 meters long. In 2003 she was purchased by Roman Abramovich. He had a bathing platform installed, making her 112 meters long.

She has a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. She is powered by 2 Deutz engines. Which bring her a top speed of 17 knots. Her cruising speed is 15 knots. Her range is more than 6,000nm.
Interior
The luxury yacht can accommodate 20 guests and has a crew of 35. Her features include a large pool and a 22 meter Ed Dubois-designed sailing yacht. And also a 20 meter Sunseeker yacht named Sirius A. Both are carried on deck.
Refit
In 2016 she was sent to Blohm and Voss for a refit. Works included a new hull paint and interior update and several cosmetic repairs.
Owner
The yacht’s owner is Eugene Shvidler. He bought the yacht from Abramovich in 2006.
