The yacht Code 8 was built as Golden Cell in 1996. She is a 50-meter Benetti and can accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins.
She is powered by 2 MTU engines. Which bring her a top speed of 18 knots. Her cruising speed is 16 knots. We estimate her range at more than 4,000nm.
Her interior is designed by Zuretti Interior Design.
In 1999 Golden Cell was grounded in the Sunshine Coast region in BC, Canada. She was later sold and named Don Pablo.
In 2012 she was sold again after a bank repossession. For a short time, she was named Jeoon and was refitted in Italy. Later she was named Code 8.
The yacht’s owner is Mansoor bin Mohammed al Maktoum. He listed the yacht for sale, and we think he is building a new yacht.
