Marc Cuban Yacht
The yacht was built at Feadship in 2011.
The superyacht can accommodate 14 guests and has a crew of 20. She is powered by 2 MTU engines, which bring her a top speed of 20 knots.
We estimate her value at US$ 130 million, and her operation costs at US$ 10 million per year.
Her actual owner is Eddie Lampert, the founder and sole owner of the hedge fund ESL Investments. Well-known investments of Lampert are Sears Holding and Autonation (the largest U.S. retailer of new cars, trucks & SUV). He also owns Land’s End.
His main residence is a large mansion in Dallas, Texas. He bought this home through a company named Bonnie Y LLC. The house has a large landscaped garden, a swimming pool, a tennis court and garage facilities for multiple cars.
In 2018 he bought a beach house in Laguna Beach, California for US$ 19 million.
Cuban is the owner of 4 private jets. He uses 2 for his personal and family travels and 2 are used by the Dallas Maverick team.
He owns a 2018 Bombardier Global 6000, with registration N921MT. ‘MT’ refers to Marc and Tiffany. The ‘921’ refers to their date of marriage (September 21, 2002). A Bombardier Global 6000 has a list price of US$ 40 million.
Cuban also owns an older (2004) Gulfstream G550, with registration N718MC. The ‘MC’ is obviously his initials. ‘718’ is probably his birthday. (Other media all claim he was born on July 31, but we think this is incorrect. And that his actual birthday is July 18, 1958. The G550 has a value of around US$ 10 million.
Both his private jets are owned by a company named Radical Ventures LLC, a reference to his private equity company Radical Computing, Inc.
