Leonardo Del Vecchio is the owner of the yacht Moneikos.
He is the founder of Luxottica and the richest man of Italy.
The Luxottica Group is the largest eyewear company in the world. The company designs, manufactures and sells eyewear, with brands as Rayban, Oakley, Sunglass Hut and Pearle Vision.
The company also makes and designs frames for brands as Prada, Dolce and Gabbana, Armani and Chanel. The Luxottica group realizes annual sales of more than US$ 10 billion and has more than 80,000 employees.

Del Vecchio owns more than 62% of the shares in Luxottica through his holding company Delfin SARL, which gives Del Vecchio a net worth of US$ 23 billion. He is the richest man in Italy. Giorgo Armani is also a shareholder.

The yacht Moneikos was built at Codecasa in 2006. She is designed by Anna Dellarole of Studio Dellarole, who is also responsible for her interior.
Moneikos can accommodate 16 guests and a crew of 16. She is powered by two Caterpillar engines, who bring Moneikos a top speed of 17 knots and a range of 6,000nm.
Moneikos has a modern interior. Her features include an elevator, a gym and a large pool equipped with a continuous flow generator.
