He is a leading real estate developer, active in South Florida. Soffer sold his previous yacht in 2018. He and his family have owned several yachts, all named Madsummer.
The swamp was turned into the city of Aventura. The city now has a population of more than 36,000.
The company has created many of South Florida’s signature residential condominium developments. Including Porto Vita, Turnberry Ocean Colony, the Tresor and Sorrento towers at Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
The Aventura Mall is also owned by the Soffer family. It is one of the largest shopping malls in Florida. The net worth of the Soffer family is estimated at US$ 2.2 billion.
The real estate developer lives in a large mansion on Indian Creek Island near Miami.
His first Madsummer was a 78.5 meter (258 ft) Lurssen designed by Espen Oeino.
The Lurssen could accommodate 18 guests and a crew of 25. The yacht was delivered in 2009. Unfortunately soon after delivery of the yacht, the Soffer family ran into a financial difficult period.
In 2010 they swapped ownership of yachts with Mexican billionaire Emilio Fernando Azcárraga Jean. Who owned a 44 meter Feadship named TV. The US$ 100 million 78 meter Madsummer became TV. While the 44 meter Feadship (valued at US$ 35 million) became Madsummer.
The 44 meter yacht can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 10. In 2014 the Feadship was sold again.
Soon Soffer purchased a 55 meter Feadship. Which was built as Twizzle in 2005. The 55 meter yacht can accommodate 10 guests and a crew of 14. There are many photos online of Soffer and his (now ex-

Soffer also owned a 30 meter Sunseeker named Mad Summer. Which was based behind his home in Miami.
