Rupert Murdoch House

Yacht Vertigo

We were told he is the owner of the yacht Vertigo.

SY Vertigo was built by New Zealand’s Alloy Yachts and was delivered to her owner in 2011.

The yacht is designed by Phillipe Briand, with interior design by Christian Liaigre. Liaigre also designed the interior of Rosehearty, Murdoch’s other sail yacht.

However, Superyachtfan received a message from Y.CO that Mr. Murdoch is actually NOT the owner of Vertigo.

Superyachtfan is not sure about this message and until somebody sends us an e-mail with the name of the actual owner, we will hold on to Mr. Murdoch.

It is very possible that the yacht is owned by Rupert’s son Lachlan Murdoch. He also owns the sailing yacht Sarissa. Lachlan Murdoch’s net worth is estimated at $ 2 billion.
