The yacht can accommodate 12 guests and has a crew of 11.
Who is the Owner of the Sailing Yacht VERTIGO?
There are rumors on the Internet that Mr. Murdoch is the owner of the SY Vertigo yacht. However, Superyachtfan received a message from Y.CO that Mr. Murdoch is actually NOT the owner of Vertigo.
Superyachtfan is not sure who owns Vertigo. But until somebody sends us an e-mail with the name of the actual owner, we will hold on to Mr. Murdoch. (We must admit that the ‘child-friendliness’ does not really link ownership to Murdoch, but more to Lachlan Murdoch). It is very possible that the yacht is owned by Rupert’s son Lachlan Murdoch. He also owned the sailing yacht Sarissa and is now building a new and larger sailing yacht (Hull 404) at Royal Huisman. Lachlan Murdoch’s net worth is estimated at $ 2 billion.
How Much is the VERTIGO Yacht?
Her value is $50 million. Her annual running costs are around $5 million. The price of a yacht can vary greatly depending on a number of factors, including the size, age, and level of luxury of the yacht, as well as the cost price of materials and technology used in its construction.
