Boris Kogan was the owner of the motor yacht Lady K. He died in 2017. He was a millionaire from the Ukraine and founder of Kaalbye Shipping.
Kaalbye Shipping is a shipping group specializing in marine transportation. And vessel management services. It is based in Odesa, Ukraine.
The group was founded in 1995 by Kogan. The Kaalbye Group has a wide variety of subsidiaries. Including Kaalbye Oil Services, Ukrainian Maritime Agency, Kaalbye Marine Service, and Kaalbye Shipping Cyprus.
These companies provided crewing, chartering, and freight forwarding. And container and bulk shipping, project and heavy-lift work, and luxury yacht services.
Kaalbye owns four ships named the Ocean Glory, Ocean Marvel, Ocean Haven, and the Ocean Treasure. The group is said to be used by the Russian Government to transport weapons.
He was one of the co-founders of Kaalbye Shipping Ukraine. And served as a director and senior manager of the company.
Kogan was also on the board of directors of a Russian company, RT-Logistika. RT-Logistica is active in over-sized and heavy load cargo transportation, project transportation and cargo storage services.
Early 2017 Kogan purchased a one-bedroom apartment in Trump Tower for US$ 2 million. Unfortunately, he died that same year.
