New Yacht Skat
In May 2020 Lurssen launched a 90-meter + yacht, with similar styling as the current Skat. The yacht (or actually just the steel hull) was bearing the Hungarian, Swedish, and US flags. This is a direct link with Simonyi, as he was born in Hungary, his wife Lisa was born in Sweden. And they live in the USA.
The new yacht has a similarly styled sky lounge as the current yacht. The biggest difference is a wave-piercing bow.
In November 2021 it was reported that Skat has been sold. Her sale was concluded by Stuart Larsen of Fraser who represented both the buyer and the seller. Do you know who currently owns SKAT? Pls do send us a message.
Update: the Norwegian millionaire Kjell Inge Rokke is the new owner of SKAT.
