Sea Owl is a 62-meter displacement yacht, built at Feadship. She has a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. The yacht was delivered in 2013 to her owner by Royal Van Lent.
The yacht is powered by 2 MTU diesel engines. Which bring her a top speed of 16 knots. Her cruise speed is 14 knots. We estimate her range at more than 5,000 nm.
Both her exterior lines and her interior design is done by Andrew Winch Designs. Sea Owl features a jade mist green and oyster white color scheme. It is the same color scheme as the owners’ previous superyacht.
Besides the owner’s stateroom, the yacht has 3 guest cabins, two kid’s cabins, and a nanny cabin. There is even a herb garden.
The luxury yacht has a crew of 18. The owners’ previous yacht was a 43 meter Burger, with the same name.
The yacht’s owner is Robert Mercer. We think he is building a new yacht. Mercer still owns his previous yacht, a Burger Yacht built in 2010. She is now named Shadowl.
Shadowl is powered by Caterpillar engines, which bring her a top speed of 14 knots. Her design is by Andrew Winch.
She has a similar styling and logo/nameplate as Sea Owl.
