A journey through the waters of time reveals that the yacht Queen Miri was originally built as Annaliesse, a commercial charter yacht, by UK businessman Andreas Liveras. Later, it underwent a name change to Delma when it passed into the hands of an Arab billionaire. Adelson acquired Delma in 2014, setting the stage for the yacht’s grand transformation with a two-year refit at Italy’s renowned Amico.
The refit introduced significant changes to the yacht’s architecture and design, including the extension of the hull to 91.5 meters and the complete reconstruction of 1,020 square meters of interior space. These alterations were accompanied by a redesign of the vessel’s external lines and layout, which saw the introduction of new elements across all external decks. Among these additions was a lavish new pool on the sundeck and fresh side doors.
The transformation also extended to the stern, where a new relaxation area was conceived. This area’s highlight is the vessel’s tender garage, which can now metamorphose into a pool filled with 90,000 liters of heated seawater, thereby enhancing the opulence of the Queen Miri.
The superyacht Queen Miri was the proud possession of the late Sheldon Adelson, founder and chairman of Las Vegas Sands Corporation. After his death in 2021, ownership of the luxury vessel was passed down to his family.
