In December 2017 is was disclosed that the Crown Prince is the buyer of the US$ 300 million French castle ‘Chateau Louis XIV’.
The castle has been bought by the company Eight Investment Limited, which manages the Prince’s wealth. The same company was also used to buy the yachts Serene and Pegasus VIII.
Chateau Louis XIV is a castle built between 2008 and 2011 near Paris, France. In 2015 his Royal Highness bought the castle for US$ 300 million from Cogemad, the property developer owned by Emad Kashoggi.
It is considered to be the most expensive private residence in the world. The castle features include a large indoor swimming pool, a cinema for 12, a garage for 8 cars, a safe room, and a nightclub.
