The United Metallurgical Company is involved in the South Stream Natural Gas Pipeline. This pipeline will transport Russian natural gas through the Black Sea to Bulgaria. And further to Greece, Italy, and Austria. In 2010 OMK realized a net profit of US$ 936 million.
