The yacht's owner was Majid al Futtaim. He died in 2021. The yacht is legally registered to SHAWAF YACHTS LLC in Dubai. (Which has the same address details as the Al Futtaim Group). Albatross is a replacement of the Trinity White Star (sold in 2016). He was also the owner of the yacht LUSINE (registered to WHITE STAR INTERNATIONAL LTD). When he passed away the yacht was sold to Rob and Richard Sands

Introduction to the Yacht Albatross

The 79-meter superyacht now known as Moonstone was originally built by Delta Marine in 2016 as Albatross. The late Majid al Futtaim commissioned her.

Her exterior design was created by Espen Øino, with an original interior by Zuretti Interior Design.

Sold to Richard Sands

After the passing of Majid al Futtaim in 2021, the yacht was sold to Jennifer and Richard Sands, who renamed her Moonstone.
