How much does it cost to charter a yacht?

It is, of course, depending on your wishes and the yacht type and destination you choose.

But roughly a 30-meter (100 ft) yacht will cost US$ 100.000 per week. A 60-meter (200 ft) yacht will cost US$ 300,000 – US$ 500,000 per week. And a  yacht larger than 80 meters (260 ft)  will cost around US$ 900,000 to US$ 1,500,000 per week.

Sometimes there are special offers when a yacht becomes available on the market.

How do charter brokers get paid?

Normally the yacht owner pays a commission on the charter fee. Usually, it will be 10 % of the fee of a private yacht charter.

What does a charter broker do?

The broker will help you find a yacht and destination, depending on your requirements. He will arrange all formalities, including a charter agreement, taxes, insurance, etc.
