His 96 story 432 Park Avenue is the tallest residential building in the western hemisphere. In early 2019 he was planning to add another skyscraper to the Manhattan skyline. The enormous building would rise across from St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

His net worth is estimated between US$ 600 million and US$ 2 billion. Although in a recent divorce filing from his wife Linda Macklowe he reportedly mentioned a net worth of US$ 23 million. ;-) They were married for 59 years. US$ 23 million is more or less the value of his yacht Unfurled.
Other sources mention he offered his wife a settlement of US$ 1 billion. His contemporary art collection is supposed to be worth $ 1 billion alone.
A judge ordered to sell part of the collection. As the couple couldn’t agree on what the collection was worth.
