Adecco
The Adecco Group is one of the world’s largest Human Resources providers. It was founded as Ecco by Philippe Foriel Destezet in 1964. In the 1990s he merged his company with the Swiss agency Adia Interim and created Adecco.
Addeco now has more than 34,000 employees and realizes annual sales of more than $22 billion. It is active in more than 50 countries. Each day the company employs 700,000 people in temporary staffing contracts.
Philippe stepped down as chairman in 2005 and was honorary chairman until his death.
To our surprise, not many mainstream websites (such as Forbes, or Wikipedia) are aware of his death. Although we did find several publications about his passing (June 2021) on French websites, including sites linked to Adecco.
How Much is Philippe Foriel-Destezet Net Worth?
His net worth was $2.8 billion. He still owned 5.5% of the shares in Adecco through his Luxembourg holding company Akila.
