Paul Fireman is the founder Fireman Capital Partners, which he started after selling Reebok to Adidas. He was born on February 14, 1944. He is married to Phyllis Fireman.

Fireman bought the North American sales rights to Reebok in 1979, which was founded in 1958 by Joseph William Foster. A few years later he bought Reebok’s UK parent company. In the following years, Reebok surpassed Nike as the top-selling manufacturer of athletic shoes in the United States.
Around 2000 Reebok signed exclusive licensing deals with the NFL, NBA, and NHL.
In 2006 he sold Reebok to Adidas for US$ 3.8 billion. (He owned around 20% of the shares at that moment, following an earlier IPO).
