Andrew Forrest is the founder of Fortescue Metals Group. He was born on July 5, 1961. He is married to Nicola Forrest.
At the age of 30, he founded Anaconda Nickel (now known as Minara Resources), which became one of Australia’s largest nickel exporters. Forrest sold the company to Glencore.
He later bought Allied Mining and Processing and renamed it Fortescue Metals Group
