Who is Michael Saylor?
He founded Microstrategy in 1989. Microstrategy is a worldwide provider of enterprise software platforms. He was born in February 1965. We think he is not married and that he has no children.
He is the owner of two yachts: The 45 meter Harle and the 47 meter yacht Usher. Which he named after Microstrategy’s security platform Usher.
The company develops software that enables organizations to analyze internal and external data in order to make business decisions and to develop mobile apps.
The company has approx. 3,000 employees and realizes annual revenues of US$ 580 million. Saylor owns approx. 20% of the company, but has a 68% voting power.
Usher is actually registered to AEROMAR MANAGEMENT COMPANY a holding company owned by Sailor. Harle is registered at Enchantress Yachts LLC, which is based at the same address as the Microstrategy headquarters.
Both his yachts are available for charter through Saylors’ charter company Fleet Miami. Usher is normally docked behind Saylor’s Miami mansion Villa Vecchia.

The value of his shares gives Saylor a net worth of around US$ 500 million. Saylor is an active philanthropist through his Saylor Foundation, which aims to encourage companies and organizations to “aggressively pursue digital education” and make higher education available for free and distributable to all.
His net worth was once estimated at US$ 7 billion. But he lost a record US$ 6 billion in 1 day (!) in March 2000 when Microstrategy stock plunged.
