Severstal operates in Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, Poland, Liberia, and Italy, employing 52,000 people. In 2018, the company generated revenue of US$ 7 billion.
Apart from Severstal, Mordashov is an investor in various ventures, including Tele2 Russia, Power Machines, TUI, and Bank Rossiya. His philanthropic efforts are commendable, donating more than US$ 50 million annually through Severstal.
