Angus C Littlejohn was the owner of the yacht Calliope, he sold her in 2015. Angus Littlejohn is the co-founder of the private equity investment firm Littlejohn & Co. Littlejohn invests in middle-market companies, typically those with revenues in the range of $150 million to $800 million and is focusing on leveraged buyout transactions. The firm manages four five equity funds with committed capital of approximately US$ 4.9 billion. Investments include PlayPower Holdings and Henniges Automotive, which was sold in 2015. Angus Littlejohn was a founding partner of Joseph, Littlejohn & Levy in New York, where he was the lead partner responsible for operations at its portfolio companies. In 1996 Angus Littlejohn resigned from Joseph Littlejohn & Levy (now known as JLL Partners) to form the new private investment firm Littlejohn & Co, together with Michael Klein. The yacht Calliope was built by the Dutch yard Holland Jachtbouw, who also built Littlejohn’s previous yacht Cassiopeia. Calliope was sold in 2015 and is now named Ninkasi. He still owns the 46 ft Ted Hood built yacht Callisto.
