He studied at an Art Institute in Tuscany and invented and patented a printing procedure on leather. He became famous for creating animal prints on different materials.
When he showed his work in Paris, he was contracted by Pierre Cardin and Hermes. He started his own collection in 1972 and opened his first shop in St Tropez.
