He is a director of PhosAgros. Formally he is a non-executive director and deputy chairman of Phosagro. He was born in March 1960. He is married to Evgenia Guryeva. They have two children Andrey Andreevich Guryev and Yulia Guryeva-Motlokhov. Their son Andrey is CEO of the company. He used to be Deputy Director of Menatep Group from 1990 to 1995.
He is vice president of the Russian Union of Chemists and he served as a Member of the Federation Council.
