We estimate his net worth at (more than) US$ 100 million. Some sources claim he is a billionaire. We think he also owns a private jet, but we have not yet been able to identify its registration number.
He lives in a large penthouse overlooking Hong Kong. We believe he and his wife Dorothy also own a property in London.
The striking 42.5m trimaran Adastra was launched in China on 11th April 2012. According to her builder: “ the yacht is the result of careful design, planning and discussion with the owners, to build a yacht that meets the needs of a very experienced ocean voyaging couple and their family, and to provide the level of comfort and style that would be expected in a yacht of this class and size. “
Adastra takes the power trimaran concept further than has ever been attempted before. To reduce weight the Superstructure is carbon fibre with Nomex honeycomb core, the hull is Glass/Kevlar foam sandwich and the interior is light weight oak cabinetry using honeycomb panels.
The yacht is powered by a Caterpillar Engines. Her top speed is 22.5 knots. We were told the yacht is listed for sale.
