All vessels are chartered in bareboat charters to clients such as Hyundai Merchant Marine, BP Shipping and Maersk Line.
Oil Tanker Amore Mio
His yacht is named after a 274-meter oil tanker owned by CPP, which also carries the name Amore Mio II.
He is the owner and president of the Greece soccer club Olympiakos FC.
Marinakis is the owner of Olympiacos FC, the most successful football club in Greece. Marinakis is actually chairman of the club, and owns the club through his company Abisso Holdings Ltd.
He also owns the Nottingham Forest Football Club. The club is based in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England.
His net worth is estimated at US$ 650 million. Marinakis is included in Lloyd’s List of the Top 100 of Most Influential People in shipping. He is an active philanthropist, donating mainly to Greek charity foundations.
