Who is Thomas Leclercq?

Thomas Leclercq is a Belgian businessman and billionaire, best known as a member of the family behind Decatlo, the global sporting-goods retailer founded by his father, Michel Leclercq.

He is the head of Leclercq American Capital LLC, a US-focused investment company with interests in technology, artificial intelligence, quantum-inspired software, biotechnology and major global platform companies. His investment portfolio has been linked to companies such as Amazon, Google, Facebook, Alibaba and Nvidia.

Thomas Leclercq is the owner of the 90-meter motor yacht PURO, anteriormente conhecido como SARAFSA. He is also the owner of the 59-meter yacht ÍDOLO. His estate is estimated to exceed US$1.5 billion and includes real estate, a Bell 429 helicopter and major private investments.
