The motor yacht White Rose of Drachs was built at Peters Schiffbau in 2004. White Rose is built with classic lines and ageless styling.
She is powered by 2 Deutz engines. Which bring her a top speed of 17 knots. She has a cruising speed of 15 knots. Her range is 6,000nm.
Donald Starkey Design
The yacht styling was done by Donald Starkey and was influenced by Numptia. She has the same rounded stern and tall exhaust stacks.
The yacht’s staterooms are named after the painters Botticelli, Canaletto, Manet, Turner, and Velasquez. Each room features a copy of one of their famous works.
The bathrooms have gold taps and fittings, gold inlaid washbasins, and gold-framed glass panels.
The yacht can accommodate 12 guests and has 18 crew. Interior designer Donald Starkey made a beautiful interior. He was also the naval architect of the yacht.
The yacht’s owner is Michael Evans.
Drachs is an acronym for Evan’s family Members
The White Rose is the symbol of Yorkshire, and Drachs is an acronym of Evan’s family members. Dominic, Roderick, Andreas, Charlotte, Helga. We still have to find out who represents the S ;-).
