Passion for Superyachts

The Madsummer is not Soffer’s first foray into the world of superyachts. He previously owned a 55-meter (180-foot) Feadship yacht, also named Madsummer, which was later sold and renamed “TV.” Soffer’s passion for yachting is evident in his investment in these magnificent vessels, which serve as a symbol of his success and love for the finer things in life.
He owned the 95 meter yacht Madsummer and a 30 meter Sunseeker named Mad Summer. The Sunseeker was based behind his home in Miami.

He sold Madsummer in 2023 to AMSI founder Terry Taylor. Taylor named the yacht CC-Summer.

His first Madsummer was a 78.5 meter (258 ft) Lurssen designed by Espen Oeino. (She is now named Rocinante)  The yacht was delivered in 2009. Unfortunately soon after the delivery of the yacht,  the Soffer family ran into a financially difficult period.

In 2010 they swapped ownership of yachts with Mexican billionaire Emilio Fernando Azcárraga Jean. Who owned a 44-meter Feadship named TV. The US$ 100 million 78 meters Madsummer became TV. While the 44-meter Feadship (valued at US$ 35 million) became Madsummer. In 2014 the Feadship was sold again.

Soon Soffer purchased a 55-meter Feadship. Which was built as Twizzle in 2005. There are many photos online of Soffer and his (now ex-) wife Elle MacPherson enjoying holidays on the yacht.

In early 2018 the 55 meters Feadship was sold. She is now named Cynthia. In 2019 his current yacht was delivered.
