The yacht ARBEMA was built at CRN in 2009, as AZTECA. She has a length of 72 meters (236ft), has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.
Specifications
She can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 28.
The motor yacht is powered by two Caterpillar engines. Azteca can reach a top speed of 16 knots. Her cruising speed is 12 knots.
The superyacht has a range of 6,000 nautical miles.
Every year Azteca traveled between the Med and the Caribbean.
In June 2016 she arrived in Plymouth, UK after an Atlantic crossing. She was heading to Rendsburg, Germany, probably for a refit at Nobiskrug.
Owner
The yacht’s owner was Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego. He sold Azteca and bought the famous yacht LADY MOURA.
Azteca was built as Clarena III for Spanish real estate developer Francisco Hernando.
In November 2021 Azteca was sold and was named ARBEMA. Her owner is a hedge fund manager based in the UK. He also owns a smaller (50-meters) yacht also named ARBEMA.
