The yacht Amevi was built at the Oceanco shipyard in the Netherlands. According to yacht brokers, she has a value of around US$ 125 million.
The motor yacht has a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure.
One of the Largest Yachts in the World
Superyacht Amevi is one of the largest yachts in the world. She is 80.00 m (262.5 ft) long, with a beam of 14.20 m (46.6 ft). The draft of the boat is 3.90 m (12.8 ft) and its gross tonnage is 2,310.
The luxury yacht has twin MTU 16V 595 TE70 engines with a total power of 9,100 hp, allowing Amevi to reach a maximum speed of 18.5 knots. Its cruising speed is around 14 knots. It will probably cost near US$ 10 million per year to operate Amevi.
Her interior is designed by Alberto Pinto. The yacht features luxury public areas and 8 VIP staterooms. The guests’ cabins are twin and quarter-sized, with en suite bathrooms, toilets, and large TV sets in each room.
The owner’s cabin is a double, with the largest living area of all the cabins and luxury furnishings, including Italian marble in the bathroom, cherry furniture, and a jacuzzi.
A large jacuzzi for all guests is also provided, and the Amevi boat has two outdoor bars. In 2012 she had a refit, at which her hull was painted blue.
The yacht’s owner is Indian billionaire Lakshmi Mittal. He also owns the Lurssen yacht Alaiya.
