The Royal Family of Bahrain travels in two private Boeing 747 BBJ jet, with registration A9C-HMK and A9C-HAK. ‘HAK’ obviously stands for Hamad al Khalifa. This jet was originally built for the Sultan of Oman.
Its customized interior cost more than US$ 100 million. Later the jet was sold to the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi. Since 2007 the private jet is owned by the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The A9C-HMK was delivered in 2003.
