Who is Igor Kesaev? He is majority shareholder in the company Megapolis. Megapolis is market leader in Russia’s cigarette market.
The company is a privately held logistics and distribution company. Focusing tobacco products, beer and soft drinks.
Megapolis has distribution contracts with companies as Philip Morris International, Imperial Tobacco and Carlsberg Group. And also with Red Bull and Douwe Egberts (coffee).
The company was established in 1998. It is currently the leader on the Russian market of distribution of tobacco products. And of other fast moving consumer goods. In 2013 Both Philip Morris and Japan Tobacco acquired 20% (each) of the share capital of Megapolis. For a total amount of US$ 1.7 billion.
Kesaev and his business partner Sergei Katsiev still own the remaining shares.
Kesaev is also majority shareholder in Russia’s Dixy supermarket chain. DIXY is Russia’s third largest national food retaile. It has more than 2,700 stores.
His net worth is estimated at US$ 2.5 billion. He and his family reside in in a large house in Moscow’s Oblast region.
And he owns a property in Monaco. He also owned a penthouse in in Surfers’s Paradise on Australia’s Gold Coast.

His yacht Sky was build at Heesen Yachts. And it was delivered in 2010. The yacht can accommodate 12 guests. She has a crew of 12. The Sky yacht is powered by two MTU engines. She can reach a top speed of 15 knots.
Her interior is designed by Mojo Stumer Design. Kesaev previously owned the Heesen yacht Ilona. Which was named after his daughter Ilona. He also owns the yacht MYSKY.
MySky was also built at Heesen and was delivered in 2014. Kesaev bought the yacht while the project was already under construction. The yacht is similar in size as Sky.
The boat is available for yacht charter. And she is not listed for sale.
